Are you having a hard time adjusting to change? Do you feel like things aren’t the same and you don’t know how to manage this “new way of life?”

One of the biggest misconceptions about life is that you have to do it on your own. Let’s figure it out together! I thoroughly enjoy aiding my clients in reaching their goals whether it’s mentally, physically, or nutritionally. In my 8 years of experience, I have worked with clients from ages 2 to 80 years old who struggled with a broad array of concerns including emotional, behavioral, and mental health issues. For this reason, I respect each client as an individual with a unique situation that will require a specific personalized solution. I believe if you can change how you think of or view a problem, you can improve your reactions, behavior, and overall feelings. With a plan, you can achieve anything. I’ve helped clients using various techniques, but I favor cognitive behavioral interventions along with motivational interviewing.

I received a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice with a minor in psychology and a Master’s in Community Counseling from Jacksonville State University. I interned and worked at local agencies with young children and adults struggling with emotional disturbances and mental health disorders, respectively.

My areas of expertise include: adolescents, group therapy, life transitions, depression, substance abuse, couples and families.
